NATURAL HEALTH TRENDS CORP. LAUNCHES LEXXUS INDIA
Subsidiary Enters One of the Worlds Largest Markets as Product Distribution Grows to 25 Countries
DALLAS, TEXAS - August 13, 2002 - Natural Health Trends Corp. (OTCBB: NHTC) announced it has launched its newest subsidiary, Lexxus India. The Company, which has been expanding globally over the past year and reported revenues of approximately $6,154,000 for the three months ended March 31, 2002 compared to approximately $3,186,000 for the same period last year, is optimistic that the new India-based subsidiary will be its strongest launch to date.
The new Indian corporate office is located in Hyderabad in the state of Andhra Pradesh in southern India. Hyderabad is a city in excess of seven million people and is the center of the Indian computer industry.
Lexxus India, a subsidiary of Natural Health Trends Corp., is marketing and distributing the Company's popular quality of life Alura(tm) product, among others. Alura(tm) is a patented intimacy crème that helps promote clitoral sensitivity and helps improve the opportunity for women to achieve greater sexual satisfaction.
